Welcome to Vinosity
'The Essence of Wine'
Having worked in the wine industry in the UK and South Africa since 2009, I decided it was about time I took the plunge and put together my own portfolio. South Africa's industry has never been more dynamic, interesting and vibrant, and so this seemed like a good time to begin!
I've always been fascinated by the intricacies of terroir and personality in wine and the portfolio reflects this, marrying some of the greatest producers in the country with up and coming, little known labels which impress.
And the name? It means 'the essence of wine' or 'what makes a wine a wine', but I also like it because it sounds like 'wine curiosity', and that's really where this all started.

Now available from Vinosity; Brunia Wines
Drive an hour East of Hermanus down some pretty ropey dirt roads, and you'll come to Sondagskloof and the aptly named 'Cold Mountain' where former CWG protogé Wade Sander makes fascinating cool climate wines, looking to put this little heard of appellation on the map.
Now available from Vinosity: Richard Kershaw Wines
No-one in the industry has an eye for detail quite like Richard, one of only 10 Master's of Wine in the world actively producing their own wines. His site specific, clonally selected wines are some of the finest expressions of place in the southern hemisphere
Now available from Vinosity; Raats Family Wines
Cabernet Franc and Chenin Blanc. That’s it. Since 2000, founder Bruwer Raats has kept his focus on these two varieties, believing that specialising would lead to success. This belief was not unfounded, as today, Raats Family Wines is regarded as a leader of South Africa’s Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc, receiving consistent local and international accolades.
